Suburban Seattle High School Closes Over Virus Fear

The superintendent of a school district north of Seattle has closed the high school "out of an abundance of caution” over coronavirus.

that Bothell High School  closed Thursday, despite advice from public-health officials, after an employee returned from overseeas travel  during last week’s midwinter break.

In a Wednesday night, Northshore School District Superintendent Michelle Reid wrote that the staffer had been traveling with a family member who started feeling sick Tuesday and who is ubeing tested for COVID-19.

The school is being cleaned and classes were to resume Friday.
